Hello and welcome to my portfolio! My name is Maximilian Sigua and I am a certified Project Manager and Game Producer. My fascination with Video Games started as far back as I could remember, playing demo discs from cereal boxes and Magazines on my PlayStation 1. I grew up on the PlayStation first party titles like Crash Bandicoot, Jak & Daxter, Ratchet & Clank, and Sly Cooper, only moving to PC with MMOs like Toontown Online and MapleStory.

I am currently a Game Producer with the Toontown Rewritten team. I acted as the Producer for our 10 year anniversary Cartoonival event, and am currently working on Toontown Remastered.

Possessing both a PMP (Project Management Professional) and Professional Scrum Master certifications, I demonstrate a solid understanding of both Traditional Waterfall and Agile methodologies and standards. My approach to project management is distinguished by an Agile mindset, Servant Leadership, and effective communication.

Fascinated with Game Production and Development, I am always looking for ways to grow my knowledge of the best entertainment medium to ever exist. I spend my time keeping up to date with industry shifts and trends, or playing games that push the industry forward and try to discover what about these mechanics work so well.

 

Diving head first for my first Game Jam was where I got my first crash course in all aspects of Game Development. Needing to deal with task dependencies and a tight deadline taught me a lot about how to allocate my time and the time of my team, as well as assessing our scope practically on the basis of if it fit the project, and if it would allow us to hit our deadline.
